This morning Allen and MaryLynn who were so amazing and offered me shelter and a meal last night told me that I would have a steep hill to climb today and said I might have to push my bike. Allen was right!

Omg this was a tough climb! When I shifted in low gear, my chain got off, got solidly stuck and it took me about 10 minutes to get it unstuck!

And then the climb...!

I didn't have enough weight on the back wheel so it was spinning on the rocks and packed sand, I had to push the bike with the 84 lbs trailer up the hill and my shoes were sliding at every step!

I made it to the top and met 2 women coming out of the amazing Bruce Trail who told me the area is called "Halton HILLS" for a reason!

What an intense morning it's been!

Now sitting at the nice Jess for you Cafe and Baked Goods in Hillsburgh, the break feels nice!
